Matahiwi Estate Pinot Rosé2025

A bright, blush-pink Pinot Rosé bursting with strawberry, raspberry and watermelon notes. Fresh and lively on the palate with a subtle creamy texture and a crisp dry finish. Perfect with prawns, salmon, sunshine and good company.

Vineyard

Fruit for this Rosé comes from our Matahiwi Home Vineyard in the Wairarapa. The stony soils and cool, dry climate help create vibrant Pinot Noir with bright fruit flavours and natural freshness.

Winemaking

The fruit was harvested at different stages to build layers of fresh fruit character. After a short time on skins, the juice was gently pressed to keep the colour pale and the palate soft and refreshing. Cool fermentation helped capture the bright berry aromatics before early blending and bottling to lock in freshness.
