This Pinot Gris is beautifully fresh, with enticing aromas of pear, and melon. On the palate, it offers rich flavors of nectarine and tropical fruits, balanced by a smooth, refreshing finish. Perfect on its own, it’s also incredibly versatile with a wide range of dishes—our top pairings include chilled peach and red curry mussels..

 

Vineyard

The fruit for this wine is sourced from two vineyards in Wairarapa, classic cool climate sites with free drawing soils in the rain shadow of the Tararua ranges. The yields are naturally low and give ripe, clean fruit with excellent flavour.

 

Winery

The grapes for this wine were harvested at their peak ripeness, ensuring fresh fruit character, and were gently pressed. The juice was then fermented at cool temperatures using a number of different yeasts to enhance its aromatic profile. Resting on lees for a short time to enrich its mouthfeel before blending and preparing for bottling.
