These cheesy treats are multi-purpose – a real favourite with kids, and also great for that late afternoon drink in the sun.
9 slices buttered bread (we use Vogels thin sliced)
1 small onion chopped finely
75gms grated tasty cheese
2 rashers of bacon chopped finely
Pepper to taste
- Cut buttered bread into rounds and place in patty tins buttered side down and press firmly (we use a coffee mug to punch out the bread rounds).
- Mix the remaining ingredients together and spoon into the bread cases.
- Bake 10 to 15 mins at 200°C until golden brown.
